Do you find yourself hurting your back or neck during yoga practice? Learn some practical tools to create a healthy framework with yourself for a long-lasting and healthy asana practice. We'll explore intelligent backbends and forward bends, and how to use the breath, bandhas and mindfulness to take the load off the naturally weaker (and often more flexible) parts of the body. By learning to interperet your body's signals with more accuracy you can explore your edges and limitations without hurting yourself. Open to All Level of practitioner.

FAQs
What time shall I arrive for the workshop?
Doors open at 5:30p (thirty minutes before the start of the workshop). You are welcome to arrive early to get setup and settled in.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The closest subway stops are the Bergen street stop on the 2/3 line, and the 7th Ave stop on the Q/B. There is street parking available in the immediate area.
What supplies/props are available for this workshop?
Mats and towels are available to rent at BYS. There are also straps and block available for prop use. You are welcome to bring your own mat and/or props if you prefer using your own.
Is there food or drinks for sale at the event?
No, BYS does no sell any food or drink items. You are welcome to bring water, or other beverages with you to the event.
What is the refund policy?
All tickets are non-refundable.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, please bring your printed ticket with you to the event. If you are not able to print your ticket, we will have a list of ticket holders at the door.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes, as long as you have the name of the person who purchased your ticket.
